The Artist

Charlotte Black is an emerging contemporary artist living and making work in Yorkshire. Charlotte graduated with an Honours degree in Fine Art at the University of Creative arts in Canterbury in 2007. Since doing so, she has continued her interest in art by establishing a studio space in the North, and dedicated much time to assisting with artists and curators in a number of exhibitions and events nationally.

Her current art practise has developed from interests in themes of light and surface quality, choosing to use plaster as a medium to 'paint' with. The outcome is a series of expressive and abstract works.
